Develop Skills Needed To Effectively Manage IT Infrastructure

Foundational Skills

Understand Infrastructure Technology Library (ITIL), IT Service Management (ITSM), and front end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) all in one program.

Multi-Format Learning

The program's 550+ hours include instructor-led class time, labs, and assessments to immerse trainees in different learning environments

Industry Recognized Certification

Students are trained for and sit for the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) administered by ScrumAlliance. Exam fees are covered.

Free For Qualified Delaware Residents

Our program partner, Code Differently, provides hands-on training and education through coding classes that gives participants the technical and cognitive skills they need to excel in technology-driven workplaces.

The program consists of 550+ hours of instruction (40% class time), labs and assessments (60% class time) that will immerse trainees in developing their skills and will learn to test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot new and existing systems. Students will graduate ready for positions like Computer Systems Analyst.

Student must be

  • Have a High School Diploma or GED required
  • Eligible to work and job seeking in the U.S.

This program has a focus on underemployed individuals, people of color, veterans, citizens reentering the workforce as ex-offenders, women, and individuals with disabilities for in-demand job opportunities in the IT industry

Thanks to support from the Delaware Workforce Development Board and Department of Labor, tuition is covered for qualified Delawareans. Part of the Delaware One Workforce Grant, Tech Impact acts as a program trainer and intermediary partner with other organizations across the state focusing on workforce development.

 

Tech Hire Delaware, a workforce intermediary service delivered by Tech Impact, aims to make it easier for all people to launch a career in tech by aligning them with technology training, certification programs and apprenticeships.

While in training, participants receive professional development training to help with interviewing skills, resume building and workplace etiquette. Once training is complete, Tech Hire Delaware will work to connect candidates with employers seeking tech talent. This is a long-term approach to cultivating a diverse, skilled workforce in our state. 

Tech Impact and the Tech Hire Initiative are members of the Tech Council of Delaware, which was formed to create a forward-looking infrastructure to develop the state’s tech workforce, provide residents with the opportunity to fulfill their career aspirations, and drive large-scale economic impact.
