Nonprofit organizations looking to positively impact their communities through technology are invited to apply for a $10,000 grant
PHILADELPHIA, PA – June 13, 2023 – Tech Impact, a 501(c)(3) that leverages technology to advance social impact, today announces a call for nominations for its Technology Innovation Awards (TIA), a program that recognizes nonprofits that have plans to positively impact their communities and change lives through innovative technology projects. Beginning June 26, nonprofits can apply for the awards program. Two winners will be selected and will receive a $10,000 technology grant.
“The TIA grant program is a catalyst for nonprofits to start projects that will empower them to achieve their mission while creating a lasting impact. Technology can open so many doors for these organizations and enable them to better serve their communities, improve communications with funders and even predict future needs that will arise. We’re excited to hear from nonprofits and ultimately have two organizations walk away with significant funding to foster a brighter future,” said Patrick Callihan, CEO of Tech Impact.
Recent TIA Awardees
Humanitix, a TIA grant awardee in 2022, is on a mission to create a world where all businesses, structures, and systems work in harmony with humanity to serve the best interests of all people and the planet. The organization leveraged Tech Impact’s TIA grant for its platform that makes events accessible and searchable in North America. By building and implementing the solution, an avenue is created where people with disabilities can search event types by accessibility requirement (i.e. close captioning, braille symbols, wheelchair access) and location.
Combined Arms, founded by veterans for veterans in Houston, TX, delivers innovative technology solutions that improve the quality of life for veterans and military families. Supported by the 2022 TIA grant and powered by advanced analytics and over 2.6M data points, Combined Arms’ LifeRx is a first-of-its-kind solution to meet the needs of veterans and military families, before they even know they need them.

The application process runs from June 26, 2023, to July 21, 2023. Winners will be notified in August and announced at the Tech Forward Conference scheduled to take place September 10-12 in Chicago, IL.
